Planting Hope: Intro to Seed-Saving Workshop
Interested in learning more about the sense of active hope that is created through gardening with native plants and seed-saving? Seeds are fantastic starting points for teaching and learning about the power of native plants for improving biodiversity, ecosystems health and introducing climate justice for all living beings. With permission of the Office of Indigenous Initiatives (OII), we'll be collecting seeds from native plants in Ziibiing, the Land-based learning installation on the St. George campus. Join the SCAN team for a hands-on learning experience to prepare seeds for sharing through the OII and the ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø Seed Library. Open to members of the U of T community; is required.
