In this panel, Dr. Eunice Jang (APHD), Dr. Steven Coyne (Philosophy/Computer Science), Dr. Victoria Sheldon (Centre for Teaching Support and Innovation), and Dr. Olesya Falenchuk (ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø) will steer APHD students and faculty beyond private experimentation with AI toward a transparent, standards-driven practice that strengthens—not substitutes for—human scholarship.

Panelists will surface concrete frameworks for scholarly use of AI, the current and future role for both human and machine, the psychological impacts of AI use, and offer a vision for best use that elevates scholarship and public service. The session will include time for questions and discussion, and will yield a shared set of principles, practices, and opportunities that APHD scholars can engage with immediately.
